I never new that.

Call me a teachers pet, but I always think it's cool to find out random facts about teachers. Like, they are typically people that you run into in life and only know them as the one who taught you how to read, or to solve long algebraic equations. You never find out were they grew up, what they think about george bush, or other things like that. Last night, my mom went to "Back to school night" and told me that a teacher of mine played hockey, which I thought was so cool. They better like the reading royals, or else we will have some problems. Hahaha. Kiiiding. Thats one of the things I love about people. We are all so different, and it is interesting to see how one grew up, and find out similarities. I don't know. Its just fun.

Yay! I think that was officially the first paragraph that I wrote staying on topic and not talking about random things. haha. Cool. Our GSA meeting today was INSANE. I think it went really well. We had a bunch of freshmen, and some people from other grades. And they were all new faces :D That was awesome. Hopefully this year we will have a louder voice, and try to share the hardships of the gay community to our school so they can stop being rude butt heads all the time. I mean, not doing it in another "oh thats just the gay people flaunting themselves again" kind of way, because first of all, I am straight, so it wouldn't be just another gay person brainwashing people, and second of all, duh we are going to teach this stuff to people and try to get them to stop being so rude about the gay community because obviously they don't know squat about the hardships, and still feel the need to be jerks about their opinions.

Slapshot/my theatre teacher desirves a raise.

I miss hockey sooooo much. If there are any regrets in my life, they would have to be quiting hockey and Violin. I was pretty good at the violin, and hockey was just awesome. But whatever. Whats done is done. I miss new york so much. I miss the humidity in the summer, the bitter cold winters, and dunkin donuts. I actually have not had their coffee, so I can't say if they are better than starbucks or not, but one day, one day I will go on an adventure to find dunkin donuts with a quest to try their coffee, and then I will truley be able to see which is better. Wow. That sentence made me think of world of warcraft MAJORLY. And video games in general. Which reminds me, I still need to play resident evil, which also reminds me that I need a job. UGH. Times. Are. Stressful.

Speaking of stress, today in theatre was great. So, we had plan A, to perform pantomimes, but everyone was sick. Then we had plan B, to read and discuss a script we have been slightly studying for the past week. Before we could start on plan B, people were discussing how stressful and abnormally hard the day was today, and recomended we had like a five minute chill out with all the lights turned off and stuff. This eventually turned into plan C, were the teacher decided to circle us up, have us lay down, and deep breathe with the lights off. So nice. Then we did a mind over body exercise, and had a few laughs. Finally, we sat up, and got a little venting session to discuss the hardships in our lives at the moment, which was nice, and after, we discussed the happy things so we could end the day on a happy note. I think our theatre teacher is great with doing this. He teaches not only theatre in of itself, but also some great ways to keep our spirits high when things are tough. In all honesty, he is a great role model for us to see just how happy one can be, no matter how hard life hits us. So, uh, Amy Gordan, um...could you like...give him the biggest raise ever? Would be the coolest thing ever. Thanks :D hahahaha.

I totally forgot to drink a huge glass of tea the other day. Now its rotting in the office. Gross. Mom? Wanna take care of that?

Kidding :D

I have been posessed I swear.

Still sick. Been sick since like Wednesday. I am so mad. All I want to do is live a day were my voice sounds normal, nose doesn't go crazy, and I can be energetic for more than 1 hour. It's so annoying. I acquired a cough last night, which doesn't make things better.

Does anyone ever randomly draw blueprints of their dream house, or make lists of what would be inside your dream house? I do it all the time. lol. Well, at least, a plan to all the time, but never actually do it.

Spiral staircase
hot tub
king sized bed
balcony
different level flooring
wood floors
carpeted living room
big window room for a piano
purple walls some were :D
Fish tank
Garden with fruit in it
maybe flowers
Red, Black, and white kitchen (so old school, but retro at the same time :) )
lots of bright lighting
very open

yeah, I got bored. I went to target on friday and got a bunch of new stuff. I am excited. I will no longer wake up spending more than two minutes looking for something to wear. So many options now :) I got new toothpaste, FINALLY. Aquafresh will forever be my favorite brand. I got the sensitive kind, but luckily it will still whiten my teeth. I hate the color of my teeth sometimes. I got new chapstick too :D I feel like throwing out my old chapsticks, because I have enough to start a chapstick army I swear, and i feel like one day they will all gang up on me and choke me by jumping into my mouth and swimming down my throat, because thats about all they can do. hahaha. Kidding.

lalala

I love people. People are so cool. Seriously. I could write 1 million poems about how much I love people. LOL. kidding. But i'm super excited because I made some super cool friends, and its only like, the third week of school. lol. Freshmen friends are awesome. haha. Gotta love the little people. I am so glad I will never again have to repeat my freshmen year. Sucked soooo bad. I am glad that the new freshmen are having a good time though :) I hate seeing people overly stressed, and sad. I strangely haven't made any new friends in my own grade. Sophmores are just weird I guess. What a drag the school is going to be with us as seniors. lol. Good thing the world is going to end before we graduate? Man, that theory is so stupid. Another weird thing is that all my new friends are somewhat involved in theatre. haha. Go figure. Only two freshmen (when ever I type freshmen I say the word evilly in my mind. I swear I don't want to kill the freshmen...) aren't interested in theatre.

BUT THEY WILL BE.

Creepy? I don't think so. haha. anyways, I want to learn more Farsi. It's such a fun language. I think I can take a class durring the summer, and maybe that class can count towards my language credits. That would be awesome. Leave me more space for other electives :D That would make me happy. Then I could possibly take some psychology classes. They seem a bit boring though. This is a boring topic.

Wouldn't it be fun to join a circus? Think of the people that would become your new family. lol. Crazy. I don't think I have any special talents for the circus. Maybe doing something with fire or knives. It would be thrilling. I would hate to travel all the time though. It would suck. I want to stay put somewhere when I am older. Traveling would be fun once in a while, but I don't want to be that busy. I wonder what kinds of conflicts go on when the circus is traveling.... fire breathing contest anyone? haha.

This blog is too long.I blab on my blogs. My artistic brain doesn't like to stay on one subject. SORRY!

CONGRATULATIONS ON GETTING YOUR LICENCE LUKE!!!!

Skyhawks are the best people ever.

Sorry. Still filled with spirit from the game. But seriously. we are the best people ever. baha. Im writing this blog again. Stupid blogger failed me. Anyways, the game was good, and fun, but freakin sheldon man! they embarrassed us on National television! #%&* them! Kidding. We skyhawks shall be nice to the sheldons. They worked hard, played a fair game, yaddi yaddi yadda. We had the best spirit, I think. We were so loud. Our various cheers were so fun :) Hanging out with the theatre kids was so much fun. And Luke. Can't forget our non theatre friend Luke. hahaha. All in all, it was a blast. Except for the dude next to me who kept telling me that no matter how much we cheer we were never going to score? Come on man! Have some spirit! We lost because of is negative energy, i'm telling you. jk.

GSA was fun after school. It really got me thinking about our school, and how much we need to change some things. We recently had a teacher leave because they were done with all the hate stuff that was going on. They were a really good teacher too. Our school is a pretty good school already, with an awesome theatre department, AMAZING FOOTBALL TEAM, GO FREAKING SKYHAWKS, and really good college prep classes, but we still need improvement with our hate crime stuff thats going on. Not just with the gay stuff, but all together. Our school needs plays like the Laramie project to show us just how impacting hate can be. Plays like that should never again be canceled at our school. No matter how many parents call and complain. Its an after school play. They/their kids don't have to see it. But they should, and they shouldn't be telling our principle how to run her school. Let her be. Take your kid somewhere else if its so offensive you have to have such an important play canceled like that. Come on Parents, Come on Amy Gordon, Come on southridge students, and Come on southridge staff, we need to come together as a school, and improve our environment so that it can be a better, friendlier, and most important, more respecting environment, so kids can walk in our halls feeling safe, and sit in our classrooms and focus on their studies, more than worrying about being bullied for a difference they cannot change. Its a task that is very achievable, so why can't we achieve it?

On a less serious note, my throat has been hurting, and I get super tired from just walking up the stairs. I am going to be super sick tomorrow, but of course I am still going to school, I can't miss another day =/ Plus, we are running through our pantomimes, and I cannot afford to not be there for it. Hopefully I can sneak a nap or two in? haha. I hate days like tomorrow were you have to toughen up more than you ever planned to. uuuugggghhh. Hello lots of water, and lots of meds.

GO SKYHAWKS!!!!

More lists and a crazy wife

Scripts are hard. I'm trying to write one, and its finally becoming something. Its weird how the mind thinks of situations that go in one direction, but end up going into a completely different mindset. Like, I tried writing a horrorish type script, but the plot was too stupid, and it would have been too disturbing for the audience I am writing for, so I was stuck. Finally I talked to my scriptwriting/theatre teacher, and my mind was open to so many new ideas. Excited? Completely. Now its moving in more of a murder mystery type of plot, and those are always fun. Still in character development, so it may not be until tomorrow when I come up with my plot line. Who knows. Excited to see how it turns out though :)

Poems are a little on the down low lately. School is too time consuming, and my mind is only thinking of scripts, math, and pantomiming(woo! love acting 1). I have been thinking of some poem ideas though. Maybe my creative juices will become... juicier?...haha.... Now that I am learning awesome mind exercises to expand my thinking. Yum. My favorite thing ever is making lists(go figure) of random words non stop and then combining the words to make a plot. So fun :) Kinda looks like this....

Bird
Plane
sky
rocket
boom
ouch
rust
metal
banana
murder
disaster
crash
gun
clank
alla cazam
blue
clues
circus
together
forever
until death do us part

then I could combine "Murder, Until death do us part, gun, together, boom, plane" to make a plot line about a wife who cant stand her husband anymore, and shoots him on a plane creating a loud boom. Kinda stupid. would need to be fleshed out. lol. How the hell would she get a gun on a plane? And why does she have the gun? Was it pre planned? Is a flight attendant working for her? whoooo knoooowwws. lol.
